hi, my name is margie. i was homing that someone out ther would know where my name came form. if anyone out there has any ideas about the last name "Futch" please let me know. any information would be greatly appriciated.

Fucz is used in Poland. It rhymes with smooch, so it's identical to your name.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is the Polish form of the German surname 'Fuchs'. I don't think Polish has many words ending in 'ks', so they would perhaps be inclined to change it slightly.

If you're in an English-speaking country, I guess Futch is a modification of the German name 'Fuchs' (fox), because English speakers would generally mispronounce this in a rather unfortunate way (Fuchs rhymes with books).
