I would like to know the meaning of the surname Cherrick. I'm not real sure of its origin but it looks English to me.

Cherrick is a Jewish name. It's probably a variant of Sherrick which is derived from Scher whose origin you'll find at http://www.ancestry.com/facts/Scher-name-meaning.ashx
