Hey all, my last name is Kindness. Everyone loves it, and I've been told it is of Scottish origin, though the farthest back I know is that my grandfather was born in Belfast. So I was wondering if anyone can confirm the Scottish origin, or provide any more info on this name.

Kindness has been traced back to Androw Kyndnes in Banff, Aberdeenshire in 1615.
