ArchivesCan't find surname
I am trying to find ANYTHING on the surname "Melson". It was my maiden name. I don't have any idea about the origin. I know my father was half Cherokee Indian and my grandfather was full blooded Cherokee. They were from the northern Georgia and middle Tennessee area. I have never found this surname in any book or on any website. If anyone knows anything, I hope you can tell me. By the way, does anyone have this surname or know of anyone who does? Thanks!!!
