What does the name Ha'penny, or Hapenny mean?? I can't find it any where and I have to do this for a project...please help me! If you know PLEASE email me the answer! Thanx a bundle!

I'm not sure, but it could be Haypenny, referring to the old pennies with a picture of wheat on them. Don't take my word for it though.

Haypenny is a shortening of the word "half-penny"
2 haypennies made 1 penny in the old English (UK) monetary system.
