Does it means "tailor"? Because it's pretty much alike a surname which does means that... But it adds a "inger" which I do not know whether it has or does not has any meaning

No, it's most likely from the the German place-name Schröding near Munich. So SCHRÖDINGER is someone from Schröding. But it may well be, that the village was once founded by a man named Schröder - or by a taylor.
