Neneman
I am curious if anyone knows the meaning or origin of my maiden name, Neneman?
My father always said that the name is German, but we are mainly Polish. Dad also said we might have had another "n" in the middle and/or at the end of our name originally. Thanks!

The original name is surely Nennemann as you can see at http://www.verwandt.de/karten/absolut/nennemann.html but Neneman is the form found in Poland as shown at http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/neneman.html. Mann means 'man' but I don't know what Nenne refers to.
