I am searching for any information on the surname Leighow. The name is centered in Pennsylvania and seems to show up in the 1880's. I am beginning to feel that their name was changed when they imigrated, but I have no idea how to find out the original name. Can you help?

If you look for Leighow at http://tr.im/QjnP, you'll find that it was apparently originally Lecha which is still found in Germany. I don't know the etymology of the name.
