The surname Angelovich has me stumped as far as a meaning or origin and I was wondering if anyone might have any information. It's a family name and some have said it was Russian but I have no solid proof. Censuses list the family Lithuanian and Austrian though.

Angelovich is simply derived from angel. It could be an anglicization of any number of Slavic names. The fact that the family may have come from Lithuania, Austria or any other neighboring country doesn't disprove a Russian origin of the surname.
