does anyone know the meaning and nationality/ethnicity/origin of the surname miklos? i have no idea what it means, but i've heard that it might be greek, slovakian, or hungarian. couldn't tell you if it really is one of those, though.

As far as I can tell you, probably Miklos come from a first name MIKLOS, the hungarian first name for Nicholas.
Miklos is a surname maily hungarian.

Miklos = Michael
Niklos = Nicholas
