Krunal means 'compassionate, kind person' (from Sanskrit KARUNA 'compassion, mercy'). Makwana is a Rajput caste-name. It is one of the 36 sub-castes belonging to the Odak lineage. Kamad, Jethwa, Chavada, Dabhi, and Zala are a few others.
