Žižic
Does anyone know the meaning of Slavic surname Žižic (the approximate pronunciation is SHEE-shich)?
I just know Žiža is a Slavic given name, maybe just short for some other name (just like Miša is short for Mihail), so my opinion is that Žižic comes from this name but I don't really know what it means.

The Polish-English dictionary (by Kazimierz BULAS et al.) has a word similar to ZIZIC on page 734: ziscic = realize, fulfill. There are acute accents above the 3rd and 6th letters.
The vee-shaped accent you use in the surname is not used in Polish. I possess no Czech dictionary. A Hungarian-English dictionary has zsizsik = weevil, but there is no accent above the Z. Further ideas are welcome.
