Lassanske is not Dutch, but it may be a simplified spelling of Laszynskis, which is on a list of Lithuanian names, or Laszynski (may be Polish, I don't know).
Penske may be the Polish surname Pinsky, which I think means 'from the city of Pinsk'.
All you need now is a good Lithuanian or Polish dictionary (if anyone knows one online, please post a link).

Looks like Belarus pronunciation they are calling their own capital "Mensk" when on a map it is Minsk. Many famous people from Belarus moved over the Atlantic to America.
