Surname: ZRK
My grand parents on my fathers side spoke fluent Serbian and were born in Serbia in the late 1800's . So I would think that my surname would be Serbian. I'm not sure though. The first part of my surname is ZRK. The last part of my surname ends in "ic". I already know what the "ic" means but now I want to know what the first part means. I also want to know whether ZRK is actually Serbian. Please Help! Thank You Jim

There may be a Serbian male given name, Zrko, which could result in a surname Zrkić. Also there's a chance of the initial letter being a cyrillic one that can be romanised as Ž.
What do you think?

There's some interesting information on Zrkić at http://en.allexperts.com/q/Serbian-Language-3393/2008/10/tracing-roots.htm
