Charls, thanks so much for this website. I have been researching my mother in laws family name Suhony. I knew her mom was Czecheslovakian and all this time we assumed her father was too. Then one of her sons told me he remembered when he was a kid, something about his grandfather going "back" to Poland for a visit. I got a marriage document today of this grandfather and it said his surname was Suchon, not Suhony. When I looked up Suhony on this website you posted, it said the name was only found in Pennsylvania. But when I looked up SUCHON it said the roots of the name was Polish and showed HIGH in Poland. So now I know that the grandfather probably WAS Polish and it gives me a new direction to look for his ancestors. Thank you.
