Origin and info about the surname Nassar?
I believe it's Arabic and one of my family member believes the surname is Egyption...
but I'm not sure..and I don't know much else about it.
Does anyone know anything about this surname?

You'll find the origin of Nassar at http://www.answers.com/topic/nassar-1.
Nassar is found as a surname of Christian families in Lebanon and Palestine. There was also a leading Shi'ite family of South Lebanon of this name - I don't know if it is extant.
My fiance is from Lebanon [I'm asking about his/soon-to-be mine last name] and I know Christianity is large there or popular in certain areas but his family is Muslim from Tripoli.
That's interesting, because Tripoli (Lebanon) is a mainly Sunni Muslim city. The name is clearly non-sectarian.
There is a list of Tripolitan family names here -

Nasr and Nasser are listed, but not Nassar. I believe the spelling Nasser is stressed on the first syllable, Nassar on the second, so likely to be different names with similar meaning.

Yes and he is Sunni [Un practising now though].. and I know it doesn't have to be related to religion. :)
I thought that maybe he had some Egyptian in him because I believed the origin was of that. My father also said that it was Egyptian spelling.
Yes, the first syllable is stressed and the main
