Kientzel is a regional variant of German Küntzel which is derived from Konrad whose origin you'll find at http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=konrad.

Kien(t)zel is a variant of Kien(t)zle whose origin can be traced back to Konrad starting from http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=kienzle. You'll also find the same information in Bahlow's Dictionary of German Names.
