According to the information at tinyurl.com/7eepx28, Annibaldi comes from Hannibal whose meaning is unknown.

I thought Annibaldi could come from Hannibal since wikipedia seemed to confuse Annibale de Ceccano with Annibald de Ceccano... or something like that but I could not picture where the d comes from... thanks :D
