Can anyone give me any information on the surname 'Borengasser'? I think it might either be German, or French. Any help would be appreciated.

Borengasse is indeed a streetname, no idea what it means.

Well, it doesn't sound French to me. At all, really... German seems more likely. "Gasse" means "lane" in German, I know that much.

That's really all the information I can give you though. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.
