Surnames MUGO, MUGGAH, MOG
Surely all these surnames are British. Mugo is Scottish and it exists in Italy. These surnames are beared in USA but especiallly Mugo and Muggah are very rare.
Could anyone explain me the meaning of such surnames

There is a Scandinavian word from which we get the English word, 'muggy' which means musty or mouldy ...it may be derived from such a word used in the Danelaw in eastern England.
