I was wondering if anyone could give me information about the last name Von Vaninath. This is apparently the maiden name of an ancestress of mine, who must have been either German or Scandinavian. I know nothing about her birth location or where her parents were from, so it's not much to go on.

I would also like to ask about the last name Werndli. In this case I know she was from Switzerland and lived in Zurich as an adult, although I don't know if she was born in that part of Switzerland.
