Swaja
Hi!
I'm looking for the origin and meaning of the surname Swaja.
Unfortunately, I know nothing else about it, just that it is a surname and apparently a rather rare one at that. At least in English-speaking countries.
I know, this is as vague as it gets, my apologies for that, so any help, hints, educated guesses will be greatly appreciated.

Swaja is an alteration of Polish Szwaja (see tinyurl.com/cqz3uy5, for example) which is glossed in Hoffman's dictionary as a 'contemptuous term for a seamstress, needlewoman' (which is szwaczka in Polish).
Awesome! Thank you so much!
