Tonin
I'm trying to find some information on my last name, Tonin, which seems to be a family mystery. No one really knows what it means or where it originated from. It might be Irish, English or even Italian but I don't know for sure. The family tree is very barren there. Can anyone find out it's ethic background and meaning? Thank you!- Sarah

Try the American USA history of immigration for the name. Immigrants from Spain and Italy have that name. Cheers

Tonin is a variant of Italian Tonini whose origin you'll find at http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=tonini. The surname is also Slovenian but I don't know if it has the same origin.
