sixkiller, runcorn
I found it in an obit. the man was from Oklahoma US. I think it might be native American or English translation of same. May also be related to Smith somehow.
Runcorn is character in Ann Perry book so may be Anglo-Saxon, Norman or named from a now vanished town.
Any help is appreciated.

Sixkiller is a well-known Cherokee surname. You'll find a proposed origin for it at http://scraperhistory.com/reports/Scraper-Sixkiller.htm. Runcorn comes from a place so named in Cheshire (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runcorn).
