Its most likely italian or of spanish origin. Pronunciation would probably be like ma-KORR-ìo where the double C's make a hard K sound and the double R's make a trilled R sound like in spanish. Don't know much about origin other than its of Latin descent! :) Where might you be from or do you know anything about your ethnicity/heritage?
