Snograss' family
I know my mother was a Snodgrass. Her Grandfather owned a General Store in Dunkinsville, OH. I understand that to have been in the early-late 1940's-1950's. I understand that my Great-grandfather may have been married twice. His sisters' names may have been Aunt Minnie and Aunt Belle, my mother and my half great Aunt Rosie Snodgrass Kirker visited with my grandfather's aunts in West VA and my mother's father's name was Harold Dean Snodgrass who was divorced from her mother. At which time he returned to West VA where he had worked as a Coal Miner when my mother and brother Richard Snodgrass lived from the years of 1942 possibly until my mother was at least 7 yrs. old she was the oldest of 5 children. My Grandfather her Father died in December 1961. My Grandfather was a resident at that time of WVA and owned property there. My Grandfather also had some younger siblings in Dunkinsville, OH or Winchester, OH, I do know the graveyard in Winchester, OH 45697 does have many Snodgrass' buried there, my Grandfather Snodgrass is buried there. His younger siblings Nellie and Billy short for (William) Snodgrass. I truly wish I had went along with my mother and my Great Aunt Rosie on their trips. I would love to know more about the heritage of my Mother's, Father and the blood line of the Snodgrass' . Please email me renea1982krph@gmail.com if you have any information that would be helpful and I hope this information may be helpful to other Snodgrass family members. P.S. I do remember my great aunts from WVA had children who formed a singing group and did quite well. Retired although their last names wouldn't be Snodgrass as far as I know.
