Roiz del barrio
I think this is a composed surname... "del barrio" is literally translated from Spanish as "from the neighbourhood" and it aint much hard to interpret, but... "Roiz" could be old castillian, basque, catalan, French, anything else... What does this surname means?

Roiz is a variant of Ruiz whose origin you'll find at http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=ruiz. There are also bearers of the surname Ruiz del Barrio.

I would have never thought of Roiz as a variant of Ruiz, I thought it could do with Royce or Rose, or Ross or a word for "Rojo" (red) or something else entirely :o
