If the surnames "Burkhardt" & "Rubel" (both from the Grimm Tv series) are real, what do each means? what are there affixes and lexemes?

Burkhardt is real. I actually have some relatives with that surname but I don't know anything else about it. I have heard Rubel, not in relation to TV.

I knew Burkharts growing up. I believe they spelled it Burkhart, but I'm sure that name has the same origin as Burkhardt.
