I've always wondered about my surname- Bolland. It comes from my dad's side. He's Scottish, but I don't know anything more about it than that. I'd really love some help finding out its origin and what it means, if anything, but don't worry if not. Thanks!

Bolland is found in Scotland and the north of England. It's a variant of Bowland, a placename in Lancashire and North Yorkshire.
