CHUMPITAZ / CHUMBICHA
- Es quechua, pero con varias posibilidades:
ch’únpi = “de color castaño (marrón)”, taya = cierto arbusto;
ch’unpíyay = “colorear de castaño oscuro” (Lira); otra:
ch’unpi / chumpi = “de color castaño”;
chúnpi = “faja para ceñir la cintura” +
cha = el verbo “hacer”.

Bezos means 'thick lips' in Spanish. I don't know the origin of Chumpitaz.
Chumpitaz appears on this list of Quechua surnames -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Quechuan-language_surnames
but it's meaning is not given. The name appears to be confined to Peru. Quechua was the language of the Inca people of Peru, Bolivia, etc.
