I have been searching for the meaning of my last name. I cannot find it anywhere. "Peaks."
I would also like to know what my first name means. "Joyelle."
Might of known that I would be a freak and have 2 names that there are no known meanings for.

Peak and Peake are English surnames. They are said to denote someone whose home was near a peak, or hill. I've also read that they identified someone from the Peak District of Derbyshire which is hilly country. If Peaks is of English origin it could be a variation.
