Landi is the Plural of "Lando" and "Landon(i) is the possessive of "Lando" (correct Italian) The Origin of the name is DEFINITELY NOT LANCE, Its "Lando" back to the 4th century (Lombards in Italy) derived from (Landolf/Landulf) prior to fourth century. Its roots are the German Landulfides and Landi mini tribe BCE
