Archivesorigin of last name "Dubinick"
I'm a member of Ancestry.com and from what I can gather my ancestors were listed as Lithuanian/Russian, but I can not find my maiden name anywhere, even when spelled such as "Dubinik". Any help would be greatly appreciated with my genealogical search.

Dubinick is derived from one of the many places containing the word dub (Russian дуб) which means 'oak'.
