Archiveswhere does the surname Goris originate from???
Yes I have seen the reference to Goris, Armenia as well but have never heard it spoken of by any of my family or relatives. My Dad's family is from Belgium where I am told the name Goris is quite popular. Whether or not it originates from Belgium I am not sure. Would be interested to find out exactly where we originated and what our respective family trees look like!
