ArchivesHudecki -Polish surname- Is it common? Meaning?
I’m just curious about my grandfather’s name. Is it a common name? What does it mean? How can I find out if there are living relatives in Poland or elsewhere? He was born in Targowisko in 1889 and emigrated to Canada in 1907.

Hudecki is a variant of Chudecki which is derived from chudy 'thin'. Normally, you should be able to see the distribution of Hudecki in Poland at tinyurl.com/2fwghf but something's wrong with the site right now.
