My post isn't a question, but a fact. KASIM is my surname and it has various spellings. It's pronounced with accent on the first part of my surname (i.e., Kas'im). I'm mostly of Arab/Middle Eastern/North African ancestry on my father's side. I'm not sure whether my father's side of the family adopted this surname or who originally was born with it, but I'll research it. zkz
