I believe Katka is actually Kätkä. Many Finnish last names have two dots over a's and o's, but outside Finland they are usually dropped. So with that in mind, Kätkä is a Finnish last name and also a place name. I hope this helped a little!

Thank you so much! My family was not sure about where my grandparents came from, but I have always suspected northern Finland.
