Here is what I *think* I know about the surname "Cissne" -- Cissne comes from the house of DeCessna from France, the family group traveled to Ireland before immigrating to the US. (i've no clue but I wondered- nobel/catholic during french revolution-fled to ireland?) I believe this surname is related to Sissney/ Cissney/ Cessna/ Sessna. I have hardly been able to find any others with this name (It is my great-grandmothers maiden name)in the spelling Cissne. SO- please respond if you know any Cissne or heard of, or know more about the name. Thank you!
