Is Madrigal a real Spanish last name?
It is the family from Encanto, of course. But is it a common last name in Spanish Speaking areas, especially Colombia?

It is a relatively common habitational surname in Colombia and the rest of the Spanish-speaking world. It comes from a Late Latin term meaning "of the riverbed", literally "of the womb".
