MICHNIEWCIZ
My maternal family's surnames are each proving enigmatic as I research Polish/Belarussian ancestry. MICHNIEWCIZ, is yet another surname I look forward to having members assist me with to add a further dimension to the history of my family.
Thank-you, Sam

Hi TMyers,
So much information for the surname, MICHNEWICIZ - thank you very much. Certainly makes up for my lack of genealogical evidence otherwise. An interesting connection is that Miss Michniewciz married a Michal [GIEJCHROCH] who served seven years in the Polish 2nd Corp and on arrival in my country worked initially as a "bagmaker" at a sugar refinery.
Thanks again!
Sam
