My surname is Lezama and I think it is of Basque origin. Can anyone confirm that? Also I'm not sure whether this is the right board to ask for this kind of information but I'd like to start building my family tree and I was wondering how to start. Are there any sites/sources that might be specially helpful? Thanks a lot for your help.

It is undoubtely basque. A surname like this comes fron name of places.
