Montanaro & DeLellis by Nobody |
Montanaro is spread botn in Northern and Southern Italy and means "a man coming from a mountainous area.
De Lellis could be thsa a latin form of surnames like LELLI, that comes from masculin first names like Raffaello, Leonello, Donatello or Aurelio.
In Italy in 16th century it was a fashion to change its surname in a latin one
So Giudice could come Giudes, Filippi, De Filippis. Carli, Carolis or De Carolis, Lippi, Lippolis and so on.
