I am trying to find information on my surname, but I can't find it anywhere. It's Steger. It is a german name, so from my guesses I would assume that it comes from the verb 'steigen' which means 'to climb'in German, therefore i would assume it means climber, but I don't know if that's correct. Does anyone know where I can find information on this Thank you.
