Does anyone have answers on meaning of my last name and the origins of it. Fore fathers came from Slovene,Yugoslavia. Small village of Visnja gora. There are lots of Erjavec's there. The help will be gladly appreciated. thanks

Another possible explanation: Erjavec could come from the slovenian word "rjav" that indicates a person having a dark complexion and "brown" skin.
