I'm looking for a good surname for the names Hotaru, Miki and Moriko. Hopefully it goes with all three. I'm look for a element-ish name or something that you would associate with the elements.

You're asking for a lot of work. Why don't you try giving us a bit more to work with. Probably, you could find what their meanings are and then we'd have a chance at finding something appopriate ...

Have a look at Japanese surnames on wikipedia -

There's a long list of names there and meanings are given for some, though not all.

Good point Jim ...sorry to be so abrupt with my previous message. I enjoy doing some of the digging, but if it is too nebulous it can be too hard to find any worthwhile replies.
