pronunciation of surname Vrenna
Could anyone help me? I'm not sure how it should be pronounced.
This is a surname of a musician Chris Vrenna.
Thank you.

In italian dialects of Southern Italy "vrenna" means "bran" a product coming from grains and wheat. A nickname for a "miller"?

This surname is italian, from Southern Italy.
The Italian pronounciation is obviously a bit different.
It is "'vreahnnah" in English it is "vreena" I presume.
Of course in English speaking countries pronounciation of Italian surnames changes a little bit.

Thanks a lot.
You've resolved my doubts. For some reason I supposed that "V" does not pronounce here.
