Does anyone know where this name originates from,what it means,any history? I belive it is Irish,but I'm not sure.Any info is greatly appriciated.Thanks!

It can be English, or, in the US, a version of the German Albrecht. Either way the meaning is the same. English Albright traces back to the Old English male personal name Aedhelbeorht (something like that), literal meaning "noble-bright". German Albrecht has the same meaning.
