origin
My last name is pronounced HUFF, however as far as I was told my family is scandanavian (swedish, Norweigen) any one know anything about the last name HOUGH???

The fact that your name is spelt Hough and pronounced Huff suggests that it is English. It is locative, literally means "heel" (Old English, hoh), but identifies a ridge or spur of land. There are places called Hough in Cheshire and Derbyshire.
There is also a Norwegian surname, Høgh, which means "high".
