Different sort of question ...ice in modern Irish is "olghear" and battle is "cath" ...I have to think if it still exists in Irish, it's a bit obscure as I've looked up many, many names and don't ever remember seeing "ice" being a part of any of the meanings ...

You did say Celtic, so possibly it exists in another country that has some Celtic roots ...but that's much of Europe ... sorry can't be much more of a help ...I'll keep an eye out for it, however ...
