I will go on with blind tries... hope this attempt succeeds: let's see it as "du vic" that is "de vic" or "from vic" "vic" meaning "Victor" both as the name and as the English-Latin word akin to "Victory" or "vic" might stand from the same it standed in "vichy France" or in "viceroy" or the "vir" in "virago"
